Application to sell With Backcountry depot
In order to sell at the backcountrydepot one must be the maker of the item they wish to advertise and sell, and must allow custom made orders.
This policy requires consideration
for you will have to allow the buyer all the following considerations: color, style, size, materials, and designs, time specifications and price.While you yourself must consider the time it takes to apply design, colors, style, size, etc…and the extra time it may take to gather the specified materials should they not be the ones you normally use, and the extra cost incurred…AND, what if you’re a success??? One might want to limit the quantity per order or item they will allow one buyer to purchase for we want to establish a certain timely shipping schedule, which will all depend on how fast you can fill the order.
What kind of payment will you accept?
Option 1
Homestead.com hosts the backcountrydepot, and they require a $3.00 transaction fee to run credit cards, bank transfers, and any other form of electronic transaction. It will not charge for any form of payment sent directly to the seller at the address you state. This is done with the Custom Order Form.
Merchant Accounts allow a person to accept credit cards, bank transfers, and all other electronic transactions. However, to get one through your local bank takes lots of red tape, and is quite costly. Backcountrydepot is affiliated with

How do you want to receive your orders, emails, and custom order requests, payments??
Option 1
All information received on your page will be sent to your email address which you state.
Option 2
Assign a contact person with email, phone no., and or fax, which will take your orders from homestead and get to you.
Option 3
For $.50 per item Total Control Distributorships will process your order paperwork, call you with your orders, answer your email, simple responses, and send you the custom order forms that have been received for your pages by whatever method you state (most timely please!)
The preferred method is you do it all yourself by going to the "get my email" and "view entries" area on your backcountrydepot page. This is located on every storefront toward the bottom of the page and links directly to the countrydepot@homestead.com, which is the default email for all storefronts, till defined otherwise.
We do prefer that you have a little experience with the computer and online activities, for this action requires a secure member name and password to access the information. This does not include the guestbook, which any visitor to the page can view.
NOTE Upon acceptance of your application to sell we will send you a password to access your email and order forms.
